In 2022, art curators reached out to use our butterflies in a bigger work of art they were putting together.
We were happy to supply over 700 porcelain butterflies in various stages of flight.
Here we share some photos of our work.
Our butterflies are entirely handmade in unglazed porcelain.
The golden accents are handpainted with a special 24k gold solution that is fired at 800°C.
At this point, the butterflies have already been fired twice at 1030°C and then 1250°C.
To meet the requirements of our client, we came up with this fixing method. It allows easy installation and safe removal.
